Art & Money

2023
Editorial Design

In 2023, with the 3rd edition of Pubicritic, we considered it was time to explore the topic of ART & MONEY, reflecting on the world of art markets and recent changes. Nowadays, artificial image generation is everywhere, but can we accept it as an invisible prosthesis – a digital extension of our mind, our eyes, our hands – and can we create with its help? How do recent developments impact society and the role and livelihood of artists?

Exploring the ART & MONEY catalogue

Published in paperback, the catalogue comes with a printed fore edge to emphasize Publicritic’s atmosphere. Out of the received visual critiques (from a total of 48 countries), our international jury team shortlisted the best 30 posters and 20 GIFs. Browsing our publication, you can learn more about the relationship between art and economy from different perspectives, followed by the selected artworks.
